Either way, we plan around the space
Home parties are familiar and usually easier logistically, we just ask about the layout beforehand so we know where the light and space are for a group photo. Restaurants, banquet halls and party venues bring their own lighting and crowd conditions, mixed indoor light, stage lighting, tighter seating, and we adjust for that rather than shooting everything the same way.

How many hours of coverage do I need?
Smaller home celebrations often need two to three hours. Larger parties with games, entertainers and a longer guest list usually need four or more. Share your schedule and we'll suggest a window.
Do you shoot candid photography or only posed portraits?
Both, in the same booking. Most galleries end up mixing candid coverage of the party with a handful of posed portraits of the birthday person, the parents, and the full group.
Can you photograph a birthday party at home?
Yes. Home parties are common and usually straightforward, we just ask about the layout beforehand so we know where the light and space are for group photos.
Can family and friends be included in the photographs?
Yes, individual portraits, sibling and friend groups, and a full family portrait can all be part of the coverage. Point people out during the event or give us a short list in advance.
Do you photograph the decorations and the cake, or just the people?
Both. We usually arrive early enough to shoot the setup, decor and cake before guests start moving things around, alongside all the candid coverage once the party's underway.
